Eureka Class Starship

The Eureka Class starship is a Star-Con escort cruiser. Designed for primarily to work with the Pegasus class, the ship boasts a large and powerful engine capable of keeping up with the Pegasus in sub-light speeds. The Eureka is a police cruiser primarily though, like the Pegasus, there are militarized versions of the craft.

It is equipped with small tractor beams capable of holding small craft such as fighters, transports, dropships, etc. however, it's tractors would be useless for the most part against capital ships unless multiple Eurekas worked together.

The Eureka is designed to also operate as a patrol craft for specific planets, it has a smaller number of crewman than is normal, but it has a large brig area to hold prisoners. The Eureka is a high maneuverability ship thanks to powerful maneuvering nozzles located along the aft nose-cone and the stern.

This is actually probably my favorite of your two cruisers; I like the small, cleaner, simpler style that comes with the small-ness. Good work!

The shape reminds me a lot of the Mig 21, I think because of the nosecone and the single engine at the rear of a cylindrical fuselage. The Eureka is beautiful.

@ Talmid - Thanks! I'm glad you like it! I was primarily influenced by Buzz Lightyear's starcruiser from the Buzz Lightyear cartoon from way back when.
