Cheyenne-class Starship
Wed Jul 24, 2013 11:50 am
Introducing the Cheyenne-class starship!
The Cheyenne-class is a cruiser design from the 24th century. One of these ships, the USS Ahwahnee, was present for the disastrous battle of Wolf 359 where it received heavy damage. After being salvaged it continued to serve in Starfleet where it participated in actions against the Romulans.
The Cheyenne is one of the few Federation vessels that has four warp nacelles. These nacelles are shaped similar to highlighter pens from 20th century Earth. The saucer is an oval shape similar to the Galaxy-class, although smaller, and it has two phaser strips running around the middle. The bridge is the same as the Galaxy's bridge.
Enjoy!

I was just wondering the other day what this class was called. Now I know! Hmmm, seems a little under-armed. But that's typical of the Federation....

Very nice! I've always liked the Cheyenne! It's a cooler version of the Constellation.

Well, to be fair, there's no information on this ship because it appeared as a wreck in one episode and as a name on a screen in another. Considering the 'necks' are made from Galaxy-class parts, it probably also has two torpedo launchers, and there might be other phaser strips as well.

I actually prefer the Constellation.

I just like the way the warp nacelles are on the Cheyenne better.

Ah.... Such a nice ship! And you recreate it perfectly RMM! You really are quite good at midsized Federation cruisers.... This is just pleasing to look at!

Thanks! I don't think it's quite perfect, though... the nacelle pylons seem a bit off to me.

This is baffling. By looking at the pictures, I still can't figure out how you reversed to stud direction for the underside nacelles. Well done!

Ah yes, I used arcane techniques taught only by the Brick-Masters of Atlantis. These mind-altering methods give the builder an intrinsic understanding of spatial geometry and brick size ratios, allowing him to bend and twist the very bricks themselves to fit his will.

OR you could use a little more advanced SNOT techniques.
