USS Talmidon IV

Simply put, I have completed the USS Talmidon IV.  The new ship is sleeker and more graceful than the outgoing 'III Refit, with the most noticeable change existing in the form of what I like to call Kewl Wingz.

As in, the Talmidon IV's wing supports which also serve as nacelle pylons now slope upwards.  In words this feature might seem pretty basic and boring but it actually gives the Talmidon a fresh, new look than the previous three generations didn't have.

Either way there were still more changes to be done, such as recoloring some stuff, redoing the saucer detail, adding and removing some extraneous weapons systems, and overall making the new Talmidon new.  It's not another refit of the Talmidon III - the IV really is a new ship.

And a fine ship it is.

Its official "canon" debut will most likely be an appearance in my Talmid Show animations.  How this comes to happen and under what circumstances are secrets, but all will be revealed.

It looks great! I really like the "slanting upward" nacelles. I can't find any flaws on it, and I like the new look. But the first pic isn't loading for me for some reason. I'm not sure if it's just me.

Agreed on the upswept pylons... I was actually considering doing that (and seeing how well it works... I think I will) on my alt Talmidon design.

Well... the Talmidion's looking better than I remembered. In all seriousness though, this is one epic-looking refit! The pylon-things are very well done, loving the upward slope.
