Pidgeon Drone
Thu Jul 16, 2015 12:58 pm
An LDD file can be downloaded / will be downloadable from the LEGO Gallery.
Capable of automated flight, the Pidgeon multipurpose unmanned aerospace drone offers many opportunities in a small and dynamic package.
The Pidgeon is quick and light on its wings. A micro dilithium processing core provides enough power for several hours of efficient flight, both with and without cargo. A number of cargo pods can be lifted by a Pidgeon Drone at a time, a number which will only increase linearly the bigger the Pidgeon flock is.
Instead of cargo pods, Pidgeons can also be equipped with sensor pods and lite-phaser pods, for recon or cheap-warfare methods.
The Pidgeon is very small and is quite inexpensive to replicate, so we should start seeing these used more often in both Star Force and Federation civilian applications, and they are also available for export to our allies.
Base price starts at 10,000 star credits each. Any cheaper offers are either used, refurbished, or counterfeit - if seen, please report the latter to United Star Fighters Incorporated immediately.

Shared components among products means less parts.

Yep, and less expense, cost, and more swappability. Thanks.

VERY nice! Apart from the windscreen, which you have already explained, they only thing I question is how insanely fast this thing is, it just seems too small to be THAT fast.
Anyways, from concept to design, this thing is great! Well done as always on your fighters!

Ah, that makes sense. Let's say it's 3 stars, not 5 for speed.
