A rather light and cheap carrier, the Flugel Class Carrier-Cruiser (Referred to by the crews as a "F Triple C") takes on a support role. They are commonly used in expedition and colonization fleets, mainly to provide air cover for troops on the ground. A rather unique feature of the ship is its lack of a command bridge. Instead, command positions (Weapons stations, engine monitoring, the captain's command station) are scattered throughout the interior of the ship. Additionally, the ship's hanger is located within the semi-circle that is the ship's "wings".
